Our Welfare Team - whilst still having to work around the problems of Sheilding and Social Distancing are still very active in helping those local people who require help and assistance either in the home or with mobility.

Many grateful clients have received the free help which our team provides - which includes electrically operated riser chairs and beds.

Emergency assistance for single parents who have been re-housed is another area with which we help - by supplying the carpets and curtains needed for a ‘new home’ to make it warm and comfortable for both adults and their children.

Cooking ‘emergencies’ such as replacement Cookers and Refrigerators and Freezers are also on our agenda, as we are always delighted to be able to help many local people with items to make their life a little easier.

Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs and Walking Aids are another area where people often need help and we regularly collect unwanted items which we refurbish and store for when a local person cannot afford the cost themselves.
