In the Beccles Lions Club’s 50th year one of its founder members - Lion Norman Garrod, was presented with Lions International’s Melvin Jones Fellowship Award by Club President - Lion Chris Lambert.
Alfred Muffett, President of Beccles Sea Cadets, was recently presented with an Ivan Holmes Award certificate and a cheque for £100 for his chosen charity Beccles Sea Cadets, by Beccles Lions, for his long term outstanding work with Sea Cadets and the Beccles branch of the British Legion.
At the recent Beccles and District Lions Club Charter Dinner official acknowledgement was given by way of a twinning ceremony with Vera and District Lions Club from Spain.
The third annual Ivan Holmes Community Award was presented to Sarah Jane Lavington by Mandy Holmes at the Beccles and District Lions Club Charter Dinner.
